Raco Pool, Manchester (directions below) The State Championship Meet is FINALLY HERE! and you should be checking in with Coach Brian and Coach Laura for your days/events – also POSTED IN GUARD SHACK. Timer shift assignments to follow.
**As an ADDED INCENTIVE, for all team members participating at States, we will be holding the first ever SWIM TEAM CAMP OUT AT JASPER on Saturday night following the meet!! Parent chaperones will be recruited, lifeguards will be on duty for night swimming and the grill will be open for s’mores!

43rd Annual Milford Rotary Swim Meet (Sat, July 16 and Sun., July 17)This annual 2-day meet will most likely be one of your swimmers favorites! The meet is held at Keyes Memorial Park, 45 Elm St. in Milford. ‘Quick-up’ tents are recommended, as shade is scarce. Don’t have a tent? Then, just squeeze in with one of us who do, or set up under the Jasper Valley club tent. This year’s meet runs Saturday and Sunday from our 7:30 arrival/warm-up to approx. 3:00pm. Parents: Please arrive at Milford Rotary meet by 7:30 AM both SATURDAY and SUNDAY at Milford Keyes Pool. Entries are posted in the cottage. Any corrections, please let a coach know before the meet. Food: For the convenience of the swimmers and fans, the Rotary Cook Wagon and the Keyes Concession Stand will be offering a variety of reasonably priced food and beverages on-site during the event. 100% of the proceeds from the Rotary Cook Wagon sales are used to help fund this special event. Below is a message from Mary Ellen Redway regarding Jasper’s NEW method for ordering Swim Team & Club apparel!
WHAT: SHOP for Swim Team Suits AND Jasper apparel for the 2011 Summer!
WHEN: Saturday, June 4 from 1:00-3:30pm in the Guard House
SWIM TEAM SUITS: K and B Sportswear will be on-site Sat. June 4th from 1:00-3:30 with their staff to help size you for the 2011 Jasper season. All new and returning swimmers are encouraged to order a team suit. As in years past, the team suit style will be different from last year - the team suit style changes each year because vendors change their inventory each year and is unfortunately out of our control. There will be several K and B staff available to answer questions about what size your child will need for the upcoming season.
Please make every effort to order on this day as the professionals will ensure a proper fit. Please wear an old suit under the new one when being fitted – this is for modesty, as we don’t have dressing rooms! NEW THIS YEAR! – You will be able to take your new Jasper suit home with you that day! That’s right, no wait time for your suit this year.
If you are unable to be there on June 4, please go to the K and B Sportswear website, www.kbswimandsports.com, click on ‘team log-in’ and follow their instructions as a member of Jasper Valley. **Please be aware that by ordering your suit on-line there will be an additional cost for shipping. **All suit orders must be placed by June 9 to ensure delivery by June 24!
JASPER CLUB APPAREL:
K and B Sportswear will also be handling all Jasper apparel for for kids and adults! We are offering: JVST t-shirts (blue or white), JVST sweatshirts (hooded or full zip in navy) and JVST shorts (long navy mesh or short tye-dye). Again, come to the club on Sat June 4 to try on, see samples of the products and pre-order the correct size for you and your family members. All Jasper apparel orders can also be placed and paid for on-line by going to www.kbswimandsports.com. Click on ‘team log-in’ and follow the instructions from there as a member of Jasper Valley.
