Outstanding job at the Milford Rotary meet! We were lucky enough to win the meet again, although it was by only a mere 11 points! Our strength is our numbers and we will need every swimmer possible to have a good State meet showing. We hope to bring more swimmers to the State meet August 5 and 6. Let’s get a great number when we compete there! Many thanks to all parents timing, awards, and officiating. Thanks to swimmers who competed in all the ending Free Relays—-we wouldn’t have won otherwise!

JULY 12 MEET against Salem Boys and Girls Club
A great job at our second meet! Results are posted in cottage. Please look, but leave for others to see. Parents and Swimmers: If you noticed we had a number of officials on deck watching the swimmers. Jasper Valley coaches, board, and staff would like to thank these individuals for stepping up, and being involved. This is an area the club has lacked in recent years. ”Officials” are to check that swimmers are preforming correct turns, starts, and strokes that the coaches are teaching. There is NOTHING wrong with being disqualified! Kids need to learn the correct way, and if they are never “DQ’d”, they will not learn! If your child is disqualified and they do not know why, please talk to one of the coaches, as it is important for them not to do it next time!
**Also, a big thanks to all parents for assisting in timing and starting.
